- Released from prison after 2 years, Ben Adams wants to get on with his life. When he is drawn back with the same men who helped put him there, he wonders if the $15K from that bank holdup they never recovered isn't a better way to go.
- Ben Adams was imprisoned for 2 years along with the Blaine brothers who received longer sentences for stealing $15,000 from Wells Fargo. As he is released, the brothers make plans to meet him after they escape to split up the money they have hidden. Ben returns to Laramie where Troop has helped him find a job at the livery stable. A rancher Clint Porter wants Ben driven from town as his daughter Nancy and Ben were in love. Ben also renews a friendship with Rose who works at the saloon and is good friends with the Blaine brothers. When Nancy sees Ben, she tells him she still loves him and wants to stay with him. Her father seeing the meeting starts to whip Ben but Troop intervenes. When Porter sends his cowhands to drive Ben out of town that night, Ben decides he must meet the Blaine brothers and return to crime. Nancy and Troop with a tip from Rose follow him to his meeting where the Blaine brothers have recovered the money. Ben is forced to decide his future as they all confront each other.—Anonymous
