Continuity

When the detectives and psychologist brainstorm the rapist's pattern, it's mentioned that the seven victims to date share no apparent physical similarities, being an abundance of different ages, sizes, and races. Yet when they comes in for the lineups, all seven are white women.
The episode opens with a rape taking place on a subway. When the train passes by, it is visible that it is the F train. Later, it is said that the rape took place on the C train.

Factual errors

In the opening scene of this episode, Jen Adler (played by guest star Nicole Sullivan ) on the New York City Subway talking on her cell phone. When this episode was produced (and, still to the day of this comment, in 2010), cell phones do not receive reception in the New York City subway system.

Revealing mistakes

When Jen Caulder's rape takes place, the motorman's announcement states "Wall Street" as the station stop. However, when the doors open, Church Street is clearly visible on the opposite tunnel wall.

Crew or equipment visible

At 03:49, as Audra McDonald's name appears in the opening credits, a cameraman is clearly visible for six seconds. He's standing next to the subway door as Det. Munch enters the car.

Character error

Describing her attack, Jen Adler (played by Nicole Sullivan ) states she got on the subway at the Hoyt/Schermerhorn station. She pronounces this as is spelled, that is SHURR-mur-horn. This is incorrect. It is correctly pronounced SKIMMERhorn, with the "Sch" pronounced as it is in "school", "schedule", even Schenectady, New York.
