Detectives Bensen and Stabler (Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni, respectively) have previously met Sister Peg (Charlayne Woodard ) in season 3's Silence (2002). In fact, Olivia goes along with this story-line. Yet when the detectives go to question Sister Peg for the first time in this episode, she acts as though she's never met them, saying: "Hello detectives. Vice?"
On more than one occasion, a character mentions that Maggie Peterson would become the first woman executed in New York State. As Ethel Rosenberg (with her husband, Julius) were executed at Sing Sing on June 19th 1953, this is not possible.
At the very end of the scene where Munch, Fin, and the M.E. are with the second body, the victims jaw move.
