- The village prepares for Compo's funeral; even Auntie Wainwright closes her shop (her mobile phone is on for emergency purchases). Compo's "Thursday Lady" arrives to pay her respects.
- Everyone is getting things squared away for Compo's funeral. Clegg & Truly go to pay their respects to Compo, and Pearl tries to give Clegg some words of encouragement on the loss of his best friend (in her own special way). Nora Batty still feels bad over the way in which Compo died, and takes it upon herself to arrange for the organist for his service. Pearl and Howard go shopping to buy her something nice to wear to the funeral, but she soon finds that Norman is a 'blonde magnet' and they just seem to turn up where ever he is. Aunty Wainwright actually closes the shop for the day. Reggie (Compo's Thursdays) shows up for the funeral, causing tongues to wag during the funeral. and Compo takes once last romp thru the hills.
