The Indians in this program are using saddles and stirrups. BUT Indians of the late 19th Century did NOT use saddles and stirrups. Yet it makes sense that they use them in this program. Afterall, these Indians are just white men in long hair wigs.
Gwyneth finds a piece cloth from her mothers dress. BUT it is remarkably well preserved for having been in the environment for some twenty years. The colors are not faded, and the fabric is not deteriorated except where scorched.
After Gwyneth's aunt gives her and Caine a bag of provisions, Gwyneth and Caine walk towards the door. On the floor you can see the taped "spikes" used by the film crew to show the actors their positions for certain scenes.
Caine intervenes in an Indian attack on a pioneer wagon party. The Indians battle Caine for a good 3 to 5 minutes and though the pioneers are armed (and had just threatened violence against Caine when he had tried to prevent their progress), none of them fired on the Indians during the course of Caine's battle on their behalf.
