Before Michael drives out of the Foundation Truck, K.I.T.T.'s front is facing the hatch of the Truck. But in the next scene, he drives out backwards.

When Michael jumps on the airplane, David Hasselhoff is wearing brown boots, but his stunt double is wearing black shoes.

After KITT jumps over Hagen's car it rolls and then when it goes over the embankment and explodes it is no longer a Cadillac but rather a Plymouth Satellite or similar Chrysler car.

When Michael climbs onto the outside of the airplane, he positions himself in front of the jet engine's air-intake at least once. Anyone doing so would surely be sucked into the engine.

Michael asks KITT if he's made any progress on the six-digit access code to which KITT responds, "As Bonnie pointed out Michael, the possible numerical combinations are virtually unlimited."

A six digit access code would have exactly 1,000,000 possible combinations (ranging from 000000 to 999999) It shouldn't take KITT long to run through each possible combination to find the access code.

When KITT jumps over Hagen's car, it's obviously just an empty shell (prop car) rather than the actual KITT vehicle.

When KITT jumps over the ravine, a black cloth is visible dangling out of KITT's window, which wasn't present prior to the jump.

After George Olin is shot and Michael yells to K.I.T.T. to drive over to where he and Lauren Royce are crouched, we see K.I.T.T.'s gearshift gradually move from "D" to "P" as his engine is heard starting up, and then he immediately backs up. This sequence could not happen because (A) a car's engine cannot be cranked while the automatic transmission is "in gear" due to the neutral-safety switch, and (B) K.I.T.T. would not be able to back up if his gearshift was in the "P" position, and (C) Michael would not have left the gearshift in the "D" position when he shut off the engine and got out, because the car could roll and he would not be able to immediately start the engine back up if necessary.

The pouch containing the truth serum and hypodermic is actually a case for a Texas Instruments calculator.

Several instances of car tires screeching on dirt roads, most notably when K.I.T.T. cuts off the getaway vehicle towards the end.

When Mr. Hagen brings out a rifle to shoot at K.I.T.T., he cycles the bolt; the fact that no cartridge is ejected clearly indicates that it is empty.

After George Olin is shot, Michael gets into KITT and performs a burnout before speeding off. As he does this, the camera crew and stage equipment are reflected in KITT's door.

The TOPAZ files require a six-digit access code, yet Michael suggests "00001" (only five digits) to K.I.T.T.
