When Doug and Rico are playing basketball, Carrie drives her car up to the curb. In the shot looking over Carrie's car while Doug and Carrie are talking, the top of a palm tree is visible just above one of the roofs. During the shot, Doug's head sometimes blocks the view of the tree.
