It's all change.

Hyacinth is disgusted when she sees a half naked man at Elizabeth's door, putting the milk out.

There's a real switch up in this second series, the humour has changed a bit, it's become a little more madcap, and a little more physical, Hyacinth for example is a lot more expressive, definitely more vocal. Routledge is very, very physically funny.

They played a real blinder here, with the introduction both Emmet, and bringing in Mary Millar as Rose. David Griffin really does add a great level of sarcasm, and the character gives Hyacinth someone to bounce off. I personally preferred Millar as Rose, I found her character a little softer, a little more sympathetic.

Long Johns and a steel helmet.

Very funny, 8/10.

New changes. Poor Emmet

This is one episode I've been keen to see - not only start of series 2, it feels like start of entire sitcom.

Hyacinth catches sight of some young-looking man, draped in towel, collecting the morning milk in Elizabeth's. She gets into a tizzy of what she perceives as moral degradation in the neighbourhood.

"How fortunate you are, Richard, to have a wife of impeccable moral rectitude" LMAO!

Not only does David Griffin debuts as Elizabeth's brother Emmet, also Mary Millar is brought in as Shirley Stelfox's replacement as Rose - do find her performance is more likeable.
