- Wonder Woman: According to our friend, Ernst is being held here, up in the south tower.
- Steve Trevor: Do you think he was telling the truth?
- Wonder Woman: I can be very persuasive.
- Wonder Woman: Why are we here?
- Steve Trevor: I'm supposed to rendezvous with a man named Ernst. He's a code breaker.
- [taking a device out of his pocket]
- Steve Trevor: See this? It's some kind of new communicator. If we can break the code, we can listen in on the Axis High Command and find out when the invasion is.
- Wonder Woman: So where is this code breaker?
- Steve Trevor: He'll be here. In the meantime, let's make ourselves at home.
- Vandal Savage: Who would have thought the Ubermensch would be green?
- J'onn J'onzz: Ubermensch?
- Vandal Savage: The superior man. Those destined to lead the world.
- J'onn J'onzz: I thought that was your goal.
- Vandal Savage: My only desire is peace, progress, unity...
- J'onn J'onzz: With you in charge, of course.
- Vandal Savage: Why not? Under my enlightened leadership, I can build a new world order.
- Vandal Savage: How many friends did you bring with you? What are their powers?
- J'onn J'onzz: I'll never betray them.
- Vandal Savage: We'll see.
- [Savage leaves the room, passing another Nazi officer]
- Vandal Savage: He's yours, Josef. Perhaps your powers of persuasion will loosen his tongue.
- Josef: [pulling on rubber gloves] Has anyone ever held anything back from me, Mein Fuhrer?
- [about the laptop sent back in time by his future self]
- Vandal Savage: Sixty years from now, it will be a child's toy. But today, it's the most powerful weapon on earth.
- General Hoffman: But I ask you, how can you run an army this way? The old Fuhrer was a little crazy, yes, but at least he had some respect for his generals.
- Nazi Soldier: [Nazi soldiers have found Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor at the abandoned farmhouse] You are completely surrounded. There is no escape.
- Wonder Woman: How did they find us?
- Steve Trevor: They must've caught Ernst.
- Wonder Woman: And he betrayed you?
- Steve Trevor: Don't blame him, Angel. He's just a civilian.
- Steve Trevor: Amazing what the nobility keeps in their cupboards. Caviar?
- Wonder Woman: How can you think of food at a time like this?
- Steve Trevor: I hate to see expensive stuff go to waste.
- Wonder Woman: You're a strange one, Steve Trevor. You have no special powers, yet you're willing to risk your life here. Aren't you afraid of dying?
- Steve Trevor: Some things are worth dying for, angel. Besides, if I hadn't taken this risk, I wouldn't have met you.
- Wonder Woman: [a little embarrassed] But the war...
- Steve Trevor: The war can wait. Right now, let's just enjoy the moment.
- Wonder Woman: How can we?
- Steve Trevor: [picking up a wine bottle] I found this while I was making dinner; a good year.
- [straining to open it]
- Steve Trevor: It goes all the way back to the last war.
- [offering it to her]
- Steve Trevor: Maybe you could, uh...
- Ernst: You shouldn't have come here.
- Steve Trevor: You can thank me later.
- Ernst: No, you don't understand. Look.
- Steve Trevor: [looking out the window with Diana, they see German troops surrounding the building] It's a trap.
- Hawkgirl: Thanks for helping us out up there.
- Blackhawk: Don't thank us. We would have shot those planes down anyway.
- Superman: I've never seen an insignia like that. What country are you from?
- Blackhawk: We're not from any one country. Andre's from France. Hendricks is from Holland, Olaf comes from Norway. And I'm Blackhawk, from Poland.
- Superman: All countries occupied by the Axis authorities.
- Blackhawk: We Blackhawks bow to no authority until our homelands are free again.
- André Blanc-Dumont: Vive la liberté!
- The Flash: Are these guys for real?
- Blackhawk: We would gladly lay down our lives for our cause. But we can't win this war alone.
- Hawkgirl: How can we help?
- Blackhawk: Welcome to Blackhawk Island. We were doing routine reconnaissance yesterday when we saw this.
- Hawkgirl: [looking at aerial surveillance photos] Some kind of factory complex.
- The Flash: What are they building in there?
- Blackhawk: We don't know, but whatever it is, they're determined to protect it at all costs. It's defended by anti-aircraft batteries; here, here, and here. If you can take those out, we can cripple the factory.
- Superman: Consider it done.
- The Flash: Where's G.L.?
- Hawkgirl: His ring went out. He's stranded back there.
- The Flash: And you just left him?
- Hawkgirl: I had no choice. These men needed medical attention.
- The Flash: Don't you even care what happens to him?
- Hawkgirl: Of course I do, but...
- The Flash: I'm going back.
- Hawkgirl: [he speeds away] Flash!
- Vandal Savage: [his laptop has been destroyed] Ruined! How can this have happened?
- General Hoffman: Apparently, the prisoner overpowered the guard and escaped.
- Vandal Savage: He knows too much. We'll have to move up the invasion. Send out the signal immediately. Begin Operation Endgame.
- General Hoffman: We can't.
- Vandal Savage: Why not?
- General Hoffman: We just learned that one of our coded communicators is missing. We think the spy took it.
- Vandal Savage: [backhanding him] Imbecile! Get it back, or destroy it.
- Steve Trevor: Thanks for the lift, angel. I can take it from here.
- Wonder Woman: If your mission's as important as you say, I should stay and protect you.
- Steve Trevor: What about your green friend?
- Wonder Woman: J'onn has a way of blending in.
- Steve Trevor: [sarcastic] Yeah. Real inconspicuous. Just like you.
- The Flash: I couldn't find G.L. anywhere. I still can't believe you left him behind.
- Hawkgirl: Come with me.
- [leading him to the infirmary tent]
- Hawkgirl: Do you see that?
- The Flash: Yeah, so?
- Hawkgirl: Look again. The casualties would have been much worse if we'd stopped to help John. We had to make a choice.
- The Flash: [sardonically] Some choice.
- Steve Trevor: [surrounded by Nazi soldiers] This is what they want. Make sure it doesn't fall into their hands.
- Wonder Woman: What about you?
- Steve Trevor: I'll create a distraction.
- Wonder Woman: But...
- Steve Trevor: [kissing her] Wish me luck.
- Wonder Woman: Good luck.
- Nazi Soldier: [spotting Steve Trevor coming out of the farmhouse] There he is. Get him!
- [the Nazi troops fire on him. He throws a grenade under one of their vehicles, destroying it. He rolls into a nearby ditch, but before the Nazis can fire on him again, Wonder Woman crashes into their searchlight, destroying it. She begins fighting the soldiers]
- Nazi Soldier: Shoot her! Shoot her!
- [the soldiers fire on Wonder Woman, but she deflects their bullets with her bracelets]
- [Superman and Hawkgirl take to the air to fight the German fighter jets]
- Superman: Okay, this time all bets are off.
- Bulldozer: What have we here?
- Wildman: Whatever he is, he doesn't look German.
- Bulldozer: Don't let that fool you. What if he's a spy?
- Sgt. Rock: Back off, Bulldozer. He's no spy. I saw him in action while I was out on recon. You a partisan?
- Green Lantern: I guess you could call me that. The name's John Stewart.
- Sgt. Rock: What's that fancy ring? Some kind of secret weapon?
- Green Lantern: Not anymore; it's out of juice.
- Sgt. Rock: Too bad. Seeing as how we're stuck behind enemy lines, we could have used some help.
- Green Lantern: I'll do whatever I can.
- Bulldozer: Forget it, Sarge. He may be a hotshot flyboy, but he ain't a real soldier.
- Wildman: [as he pushes John away, John reciprocates with solid hand-to-hand combat] Where'd you learn that move?
- Green Lantern: U.S. Marine Corps.
- Bulldozer: Why, you lousy...
- [getting nudged with a rifle butt]
- Bulldozer: Oof!
- Sgt. Rock: Knock it off, Bulldozer. We've got a war to fight. There's an enemy airfield around here somewhere, and our job is to turn it into Swiss cheese.
- [giving a rifle to John]
- Sgt. Rock: Welcome to Easy Company, soldier.
- Vandal Savage: [in a recorded message sent back in time to himself] I have finally found a way to open a door into the past. And through that door, I have sent you this. Over the last few years, I've come to realize that World War II was the last, best opportunity for me to assume full and permanent power. The technology inside this device will give you a huge advantage in the war. And I will also give you a second advantage: knowledge of the future. First, the war cannot be won if that raging lunatic continues to run things. He must be pushed aside. Second, the Allies will invade Normandy on June 6, 1944. Be ready. Third...
- [his past self turns the recording off]
- Vandal Savage: Well, you get the idea. Knowing the future, how can I not succeed?
- J'onn J'onzz: I've seen your future. It doesn't work.
- Josef: [trying to torture information out of J'onn] Zis one's tougher than he looks. I'll need my special tools. Make sure no one goes in until I return.
