Fire : [approaches Flash] You haven't said a word the entire flight.
[staring at her, Flash stammers nervously]
Fire : I was hoping this mission would give us a chance to get to know each other a little better.
[Flash keeps stammering]
Fire : I understand; you're very deep in thought, mentally preparing for the batle. No time for women; I understand.
[she starts to head back to her seat. Hawkgirl, exasperated, rolls the plane sharply to one side, dumping Fire into Flash's lap]
Hawkgirl : Oops. Sorry.

[regarding Flash's crush on Fire]
Hawkgirl : Why don't you just go talk to her?
The Flash : Who, me? Talk to her? Heh, no way...
Hawkgirl : Yeah, you'd probably be wasting your time. I hear she's, you know...
[Flash looks over at Fire, who is talking with Ice, another super-heroine. His eyes widen, guessing what Hawkgirl's about to say]
Hawkgirl : ...Brazilian.
The Flash : [unamused] Ha, ha.

Fire : [miserable] He's a senior member of the team...
Hawkgirl : You know he can't fly, right?
[Flash appears, whirling his hands so fast they're propelling him up in the air]
The Flash : Hey, ladies! Check me out! I'm just like a helicopter!
[he loses control and falls face-first onto the ground]

Fire : All I know is, Superman's gonna be pretty ticked that we let Luthor get away just to keep some musty old museum from being destroyed.
[Flash looks and sees Chuck and Hawkgirl standing at attention before the Blackhawk memorial - Chuck saluting, Hawkgirl with head bowed]
The Flash : It was worth it.

Agent King Faraday : I'm the new liaison between the Attorney General's office and the Justice League.
Aztek : Uh, good to meet you. I'm...
Agent King Faraday : Aztek. I've been well briefed on all of you. Security on Luthor's transfer was lax because it didn't seem necessary. We haven't had a peep outta him since he was arrested for that Brainiac business last summer.
Agent : He's a broken man. Just sits in his cell talking to himself.
Hawkgirl : When he's not stealing police vans, you mean?
Agent : That came out of nowhere. We had no reason to think he was an active threat.
Agent King Faraday : Do what you can. Put out an APB, stake out airports, train and bus stations.
Agent : Already done, for what it's worth.
Agent King Faraday : If he's sighted, don't approach him. Call in the League.
Agent : My people can handle this.
Agent King Faraday : No, they can't. Your people are good. Luthor's better. And if you get a lead on him, I expect to be kept in the loop.
Superman : Of course.

Chuck Cuidera : Whoever's on the island will be headed for master control. That's in a bunker under the Blackhawk Victory Museum.
Hawkgirl : Where you stored the weapons you captured?
Chuck Cuidera : Yeah, there's some serious ordnance there. Even got a couple of old war wheels.
Fire : Wasn't all that stuff destroyed in the war?
Chuck Cuidera : Don't believe everything you see on the Documentary Channel, sweetheart.
The Flash : War wheels, robot condors. You got a pretty goofy security system here.
Chuck Cuidera : Yeah, good times.

Hawkgirl : [after Lex escapes from custody] Why would you even try to move a prisoner that dangerous without calling us?
Agent : Maybe because we thought we could do our jobs without help from the mighty Justice League.
Hawkgirl : And yet here we are.
Superman : Okay, Shayera, what's done is done. Let's see if we can pick up his trail. Aztek?
Aztek : [scanning a brick wall] The wall's submolecular integrity has been compromised.
Hawkgirl : Leptons showing residual weak-force interactions?
Aztek : Yeah. How did you know?
Superman : It's a common energy signature of matter-phasing technology. I assume it doesn't leave a trail?
Hawkgirl : No such luck. Maybe Aztek could...
Agent King Faraday : You guys want some coffee? Apparently, I got nothing better to do here.
Superman : Sorry, we got caught up in the work.

Chuck Cuidera : [stopping her as she raises her mace] You better let me do that.
Blackhawk Computer : Self-destruct sequence canceled.
Chuck Cuidera : Can't fix everything by hitting it.

Chuck Cuidera : Whoever you guys are, you got no business being in here.
Dr. Polaris : Sorta goes with the territory. We're thieves.
Hawkgirl : We going to do this the hard way, Lex? Please say yes.
Dr. Polaris : You're threatening us with a metal weapon? I'm a ferrokinetic. Or hadn't you heard?
[using his powers to control her mace, he throws her aside]

Agent King Faraday : Tell Hawkgirl your story, Mr. Sirianni.
Chuck Cuidera : We met a while back, ma'am. Longer for me than for you. When you traveled in time to World War II, you fought alongside my squadron.
Hawkgirl : You're one of the Blackhawks.
Chuck Cuidera : Only one still kicking, I'm sorry to say.
The Flash : What's the problem?
Chuck Cuidera : During the war and for decades after, we captured a lot of weapons. Real sci-fi stuff. We hid the worst of it on Blackhawk Island. We decommissioned the place over 30 years ago. But this morning, the old security alarm went off. Might be nothing.
Hawkgirl : Or it might be someone raiding your armory. We'll take a look. Shayera out.
[ending the call]
Hawkgirl : Pick a third for the team.
The Flash : Um...
Hawkgirl : [seeing him nervously glance at Fire] Oh, yob shiggurath. Hey, Fire.
Fire : Yes?
Hawkgirl : We've got a mission. Let's go.
