Joey is up for an award, presenting one too , but the lovable fool awards it to the wrong person.

This is another good episode of the show, with some nice heartfelt moments. I think 'Joey' gets a lot of flak, but this first series is remarkably consistent in terms of being good quality.

It's great to see Drea De Matteo having more to do, and I thought the subplot about Michael trying to one up Joey in terms of physical strength was funny too.

It is however an episode let down by a weak ending. It's almost as if at times in their desire to end the episode on a laugh the writers opt for a cheap laugh, often at the expense of turning Joey into a complete idiot, and it's flaws like this that perhaps shows why this spin-off was doomed to fail.

Warning: Spoilers
Joey is going to awards. He is nominated and also does a presentation. But one of the names is very hard to pronounce, so after it works out he repeats it again and the actress thinks she won. Too bad that the actress that really won really wanted to get this award and probably won't have a chance to get one again. So Joey gives her his.

A fun episode. But it doesn't seem to have a good ending. Sure, sometimes it is nice to have imperfect outcomes as life is not perfect either, but this is a sitcom and the end makes one kind of feel bad. Yes, the actress who won gets the trophy, but nobody thinks that she deserved it. It just seems as a nice gesture of Joey, not her achievement, And in the category where she actually won another actress will be known as better than her....
