Jack returns from a camping trip to find Rochester has given an old jacket to the local shelter. Jack runs to the shelter to retrieve the jacket, it seems he had sewn $200 in the lining for safekeeping. Jack is still unshaven and in his camping outfit so he is mistaken for one of the shelters customers. Jack eventually finds the jacket but one of the men is wearing it and doesn't want to give it up. After some negotiation Jack is able to buy his jacket back from the guy. Jack is flustered when he checks the lining to find the money is missing. The shelter clerk hands Jack the envelope he found in the coat and said he thought it might be some important papers. Jack agrees, 200 important papers! Jack is about to leave but a little voice, his "alter-ego" tells him to contribute the money to the shelter and after much debate Jack gives the clerk his $200. Back home Jack sits down to a bag of doughnuts he took from the shelter and his "alter-ego" voice shames him. "I paid $200 for these doughnuts!" exclaims Jack and lets the little voice sign off the program.
