At the first briefing (at appx. 12 min mark) a slow pan of the crew shows that Skates is sitting two seats over and one row ahead of Harm. The camera shows the CAG again for a few moments, then pans back to the crews, where Skates and Harm are now sitting next to each other.
The time teletyped at the beginning of many scenes is given in Zulu, which is military (24-hour) time in Greenwich Mean Time (London time). The show's writers usually do a good job of translating from Zulu into the correct local time zone, but sometimes they slip up. For example, in the episode "True Callings" there is a night flying scene over Bosnia. The listed time is 1107 Zulu. Bosnian local time is one hour later than Zulu, so 1107 Zulu equals 1207 local time. That is seven minutes after noon. Seven minutes after midnight in Bosnia would be 2307 Zulu time. In another episode, "Legacy" (2 parts), one scene begins in Chechnya at 1829 Zulu. Chechnya is three time zones east of London , so it was 2129 local, or 9:29 in the evening. The exact date is not given, but even in mid-summer the sun would have set by that time, yet the scene takes place in broad daylight.
