The story line is that a Marine Corps helicopter pilot is prosecuted for violation of the "Posse Comitatus" act. This is impossible, as the Posse Comitatus act of 1878 specifically applied to the US Army. The act was amended to include the US Air Force when it was split off from the Army. The US Navy and USMC were not included in the act until it was amended in 2020. They were prohibited from such acts by DOD regulations, but not by the Act itself.
The helicopter in the opening scene has "MARINES" on the tail boom. On the fuselage there is an Air Force insignia. Neither of these insignia are on military helicopters.
