Factual errors

Rabb is only a Lieutenant Commander. Chegwidden, as Judge Admiral General is a Rear Admiral. It is ludicrous for a Commander or O-4 to assume command of the USN JAG Corps, even temporarily. The SECNAV should have replaced Chegwidden with at least a one-star JAG officer.
Bud says that the USS Stark (see trivia section) was attacked by an Iraqi MiG, which is a fighter, and incorrect. The Stark was attacked by a Dassault Falcon 50, a private commercial jet, that was retrofitted to carry and fire two Exocet anti-ship missiles. The reason that attack succeeded is because the Stark wasn't expecting what appeared to by a civilian aircraft firing on them.
If a person is too impaired to drive, or has a blood alcohol limit over the legal limit, they are guilty of driving under the influence, it doesn't matter if the alcohol came from beer, liquor or cough syrup. In fact in the early 2000's the US started seeing an increase in drivers being intoxicated because of both prescription and over-the-counter medications, one of the biggest culprits was cough and allergy medicine, the active ingredients in those can impair a person's reaction time and hand-eye coordination more rapidly and in much smaller doses than alcohol. However, Harm could have argued what he found and the the Judge in a later episode dismissed the charge.
It is a common myth that people inside an elevator can open the emergency hatch on the roof and climb out. These hatches are almost always locked, their purpose is to allow emergency crews to gain access to the elevator car from the outside. The last thing emergency services want is for panicked passengers to be climbing around inside an elevator shaft, a scared person climbing around inside the shaft without knowing what they are doing is far more likely to be killed, they could slip and fall or the elevator could start running again and crush them. By far the safest option in the event of an elevator malfunction is to stay put and wait for help.

Character error

The Marines and the Admiral fly in the C-130 to Italy. in normal gear and without a coat. Given that altitude and Washington DC weather, they would freeze to death in that clothing.
