- The admiral returns to duty. A young Marine pilot, who is also a Vietnamese refugee from the fall of Saigon, comes under suspicion of taking part in human trafficking, along with his wife, who is also from Vietnam. Although the couple and other Vietnamese feel reluctant to reveal the circumstances, Harm and PO Coates persist, they find the truth, and justice prevails, even without going to trial. The SecNav, under political pressure, sends an investigator to look into a number of unusual occurrences. The investigator is Cdr. Ted Lindsey, who tries hard to grind his ax; he says that he'll recommend the transfer of everyone in the office.—DocRushing
- When a Marine pilot who was born in Vietnam and came to the United States as a refugee at the fall of Saigon confesses to human trafficking, Harm and Mac must dig deeper to find the truth before the INS arrests him. In the aftermath of Chegwidden ejecting from a F-14, Commander Theodore Lindsey arrives at JAG for a review at the SECNAV's request, where the unpopular former JAG staff officer clashes with everyone he meets and promises to overturn the place he once worked.
- A raid by agents of the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) on a boat carrying Vietnamese ladies being smuggled into the USA, also nets a distinguished Vietnam-native Marine Lieutenant, who is suspected to have a part in bringing the ladies in for profit. Harm and Sturgis are assigned to see if the Lieutenants claim that he broke into the warehouse containers to steal is true, or if he really is one of the lead smugglers. They learn that when the Lieutenant was four years old living in Saigon with his mother, he was loaded onto the last helicopter evacuating people from the US Embassy in Saigon on April 29, 1975, just before the city was invaded by North Vietnam. As there was only room for 1 person left on the helicopter, his mother placed him onboard and stayed behind. He was then brought to the US and later joined the Marines, rapidly advancing through the ranks, becoming a pilot and earned great distinction for himself.
