Location of the alien soldier helmet and submachine gun, at the time the wearer falls to the floor, is seen burning up, and again when the unarmed alien retrieves the gun.
In the end gun battle, Vincent arrives with 4 soldiers - the first casualty shown lying dead but is not shown being hit.
In the end gun battle - one alien soldier with a submachine gun runs out of ammo, pulls the empty clip out and puts it on the ground, then loads another clip - but doesn't start firing and just immediately pulls the clip back out, sees it is (somehow) empty despite it not having been fired, puts it down (and the empty clip he just put on the floor is now gone) and he runs off.
When the fake Justice Department agents take Vincent out to the desert, he breaks away from them and runs away from the back of the car. The car begins chasing him in reverse. Seconds later, from a different angle, the car is chasing him going forward.
The story is set in Utah. Inside General Beaumont's office is the Division's unit insignia, a taro leaf. This particular insignia belongs to the 24th Infantry Division (originally formed in Hawaii, hence the taro leaf), but at the time of original broadcast was stationed in West Germany.
In the gun battle toward the end, the last alien to be killed falls and burns up. But the final burn mark is already clearly visible on the ground the moment the alien starts to burn.
(Wrong - it is his shadow from the desert sun which is already seen in the sand - he then falls and vanishes in a slightly different place the the burn mark then appears there)

The story revolved around the Invaders' anti-matter bomb that was capable of catastrophic destruction. But at the end, after they manage to hijack the truck with the bomb, it goes over a hill and detonates, an explosion that is no bigger than a regular bomb.
After avoiding the car in the desert, David Vincent drives away in the opposite direction he was originally traveling and somehow still arrives at his meeting place.
Once again, there is a situation where a character has information that could not possibly be known to the character. Specifically, Vincent could not possibly know the time and location of the meeting between the General and the aliens, let alone know the perfect vantage point from which to spy on it. It is a secret meeting with the time and location known only to the General and aliens, so Vincent could not follow the aliens who would take precautions against being followed.
After avoiding the aliens on the road in the desert, Vincent drives off in the opposite direction but still manages to arrive at his meeting in the opposite direction.
Major Graves is the security chief on the base and knows that Wyeth is the security risk and has the authority and resources to investigate and stop him without the need to bring in an outsider like Vincent who has no access or authority to do anything about Wyeth.
Near the beginning of the show, as David Vincent and Major Graves stand talking on the edge of Graylock Crater, the shadow of a boom microphone can be seen in several shots behind them on the left side of the screen.
The Colonel says Vincent might as well use his real name since he already used it at the motel. The officials at the army base, as well as the aliens would not know that Vincent was headed to the base, nor that he was there under an alias, all that they MIGHT know is that he had checked into a motel. The Colonel, as a security expert would know this and never make such a careless mistake bringing unneeded suspicion to Vincent.
Major Graves is a security expert and would know that Vincent should use an alias so as not to bring undue suspicion on him. His off handed remark is out of character since knowing that Vincent was staying at the motel would not necessarily mean he would show up on the base.
The aliens are intelligent enough to fly through space to Earth, and would know to avoid being followed to a secret meeting in the desert as Vincent so easily did.
