- The record company freaks out when Jude plays her new song for the radio powers-that-be and gets some very negative reactions. Tommy's so disappointed in himself that he even threatens to quit.
- Jude goes to three different radio stations trying to 'sell' her new single 'I'm in love with my guitar' to radio programmers, under Georgia's instructions. None of the programmers like her song and so all turn her down. One of them tells her that Eden just brought out a new single and that it 'kills', even though Jude beat her in instant star. Jude is throwing darts at a dart board with Eden's photo on it when Georgia comes in telling Jude that Eden's single is great and that they need a new hit fast to beat her with. Jude tells her that she and Tommy will make a start on the new single, which is when Georgia tells Jude to 'take a seat' in a very nervous, tense tone. Jude is mad at Tommy because he's leaving. He says that he's a freelance, he can go any time and that he needs a vacation. Jude makes an excuse that they need to write a new single, but Tommy replies that she'll write the song just not with him as she has a new producer starting next week. Sadie is washing her green VW Beetle when her dad comes out asking her if she's excited about her big debate coming up, but Sadie doesn't seem very excited. Stewart , her dad, changes the subject to the rather more serious subject of Yvette, the woman who he is having an affair with. He tells her that the message Yvette left for him in the booklet before was just a joke and Sadie believes him. To which they then laugh about. Stewart goes inside the house to find Jude stressed out and alphabetizing then vinyl records. Jude tries to tell him that she's fine but he doesn't believe her, so she gives in and tells him about Eden and Tommy and Georgia. He tells her that starting all over again isn't always a bad thing, but Jude takes this advice the wrong way. But she comes out with the idea that her and Tommy should go to the farm to write the new single. Tommy is in the recording studio when Jude calls him, she explains her idea to him saying that it'll be like a working vacation. After a little convincing Tommy agrees and Jude makes a deal that if they manage to write a hit song over the weekend then he has to stay. When he agrees he asks Jude if her parents are really okay with the two of them spending time alone together away at a farm. Jude, Jamie and Kat walk out of the house, Jamie telling Jude that she has no idea how much pain it will cause him to spend a weekend away with 'Little Tommy Q'. The scene evidently explaining that Jude's parents weren't okay with her and Tommy going away together as they sent chaperon's. Tommy shows up in his car but there's a problem, there are four of the and only two seats. Tommy says that his other car is in the shop so Jamie will have to take Kat in his car, about which neither Jamie or Kat isn't happy. Stewart and Victoria, Jude and Sadie's parents, are walking into a large hall, Victoria talking about how she's nervous about Jude spending the weekend with 'Little Tommy Q'. Stewart tells her that it'll be fine, as the sent them with chaperon's. They sit down in the hall and Victoria asks Stewart to get her some water, so he gets up and goes into the hall to get the water where he meets Yvette. He asks her what she's doing there and she explains that her son's girlfriend is competing in the debate. Stewart gets worried as they are having an affair and his wife is there. Yvette gets him to calm down, saying that no one will find out about them, she makes a pass at him and Sadie sees them, now knowing that her dad was lying to her when he said that the message was just a joke she gets extremely mad at him. Tommy and Jude are driving up to the farm, when they get inside Jude exclaims that she loves the place and that Tommy probably thinks it's really dorky. Though Tommy says that she understands as it reminds him of his grandfather's place. Tommy spots all the trophies on the mantelpiece and goes over to check them out, he states that either they need to get a bigger mantle or Sadie needs to stop winning stuff. Jude looking a little annoyed about Sadie says that she'll never stop winning things, that she has some sort of an addiction to winning. She then asks Tommy what the sudden interest in Sadie is, and Tommy stammeringly denies any interest at all. Sadie is about to go up to the podium, when she gets there she has a bit of a breakdown about seeing her dad with Yvette and in her speech she announces that all men are dogs. Sadie storms into the house still mad at her father for cheating on her mother, Stewart runs in after her again trying to tell her that it was just a joke but Sadie tells her dad that she saw her and Yvette together. At that point Victoria walks into the room asking what's going on. Jamie and Kat are driving along in Jamie's car, he's telling Kat that he needs to check the map to see where they are, Kat accuses Jamie of being lost to which he denies, he can see where the are and where they need to go. As they stopped the car Jamie goes to turn the engine back on but is unsuccessful, at which point Jamie states that Kat can now panic. Jude and Tommy are setting up the equipment to write and record a song, talking about what the song is going to be about. Jude says she wants the song to be about a girl who meets a guy that is the guy of her dreams. Tommy says that the setting of the story will be a train, the attraction obvious and then he starts singing the song. As they sing together the attraction between the two becomes more and more obvious, as they stop singing Sadie walks in. Jude pushes Sadie out the door asking her what she's doing there. Sadie says that she wanted to talk to Jude but when she looks over at Tommy she changes her mind, when Jude sees Sadie looking at Tommy she gets the wrong idea and thinks that Sadie is there to see Tommy. Sadie denies it and Jude tells her that Tommy has better taste than to go out with a girl like Sadie. At that point Sadie gets mean and in a sarcastic way she says that Jude must not have anything to worry about. Tommy is barbecuing for the three of them, he and Sadie start talking about her equestrian trophies and the horses they ride as Tommy used to ride, her even used to have his own horse. Jude is getting annoyed with Sadie and Tommy getting on so well and so states that she and Tommy have a song to finish to interrupt. Kat and Jamie are walking down the road as they are going to get to the farm on foot. Kat is complaining that she can't get any signal on her phone, shouting at Jamie for getting them lost. Jamie tells Kat he knows where they are going but Kat says she doesn't trust him, Jamie retorts by saying that she can just stay there and there'll probably be someone along the road in a few days. Jude is worried about Jamie and Kat as she can't get through to her phone and so doesn't know where they are. Tommy tells her not to worry, that Jamie's car is old, it probably was just taking a while to get there. As they continue with the song Tommy asks what's going on in the girls head and she replies that the girl is angry. Whilst going through the song Tommy comes up with an opening for the song. He says that the guy and girl know each other and that they both know they are going to get together, but it's going to get messy. Tommy starts singing the song to Jude but ends up looking at Sadie the whole way through, showing that there is a connection between the two of them, which Jude is not happy about. Kat and Jamie are walking through the woods on their way to the farm, Kat is having trouble walking as she is only wearing flip flops on her feet...
