A party trifecta!

Things were going so well for Ted & Robin…Until Ted told Robin he loved her. Ted finds out he has a chance to remedy his mistake when he finds out from Lilly that Robin digs him. The problem is that Ted comes on too strong, whereas Robin wants something casual. When he sees Robin on T.V, while she's covering a story about a kid being stuck in the crane machine, Ted casually races over, and acts like he was there all along. Ted decides to throw Robin a party. After Robin doesn't show up, he tries again with a second party. A demoralized Ted tries one final time for a third party, and Robin finally shows. Meanwhile, Lilly has become sex crazed after getting engaged with Marshall. Marshall gets flustered, because he has a paper due for law school. The things we do to impress women. It's clearly amazing the lengths we will go to, so we can get their attention. This episode puts that on display, rather adroitly. This is essentially the real introductory with Robin. I realize she had lots of screen time in the pilot, but this is where she meets the gang, so I consider it to be her real debut for the show. I never understood Ted wanting to get married so badly, but he is easy to like due to his charming demeanor, and his strong morals. Everything was clicking instantly with this show, and I thought it furthered everything perfectly. If the finale on the roof between Robin & Ted doesn't make you smile, you have issues. The characters are used very well. Marshall & Lilly's hunger for one another sexually was amusing, and Barney is epic as always. It's a fantastic episode

after Ted says i love you to robin on his first date.........

after Ted makes a complete fool of himself on his first date with robin he talks to Marshall and decides not to call robin, but unfortunately he runs into robin in MacLaren's as lily discovers that she and robin went to college together. Ted decides that he still likes robin while Lily spills that she had a discussion with robin about Ted where robin says that Ted is "something else" and she says that she is not looking for commitment and wants something casual. Ted thinks of throwing a party and inviting robin as something casual and at the same time take her to the Roof. barney while at this party hooks up with a girl and takes her to the roof as robin doesn't show up. during the same time Marshall has to submit a report while lily wants to get in Marshall pants as she grows more affectionate of Marshall. Ted decides to turn the party a two dayer cause "that how he rolls" robin against doesn't show up as she is busy at work same as before. this time the Roof is captured by Marshall and lily. barney desperately tries to break up with the chick from the previous night and does so by quoting Ted as "i love you". Ted decides to give one more try and hosts a boring Sunday night party where Marshall's book is destroyed and he screams on Ted while in the background lily and robin show up. Ted finally gets robins attention and loses it by mating him with a douche guy and sending him to the roof. finally he loses it and goes to the roof and kisses robin.

this episode was a good one and has paved a great way for How i met your mother.

An Enjoyable Second Episode

The second episode of "How I Met Your Mother", starts with an opening credits sequence that was missing from the pilot. It shows what appear to be the central characters Ted, Marshal, Lilly, Barney and Robin enjoying a night out (Probably at their favourite hangout 'Maclarens')

Plot In A Paragraph: Ted finds out from Lily that Robin likes him and Ted tries once again to get the girl, by throwing a party at his and Marshall's place, but it turns into 3 parties in 3 nights, when Robin fails to show for the first 2. Meanwhile, Lily has become extra affectionate to Marshall in the bedroom, but he is worrying about finishing a huge paper he has to write for law school, that is due soon.

Ted (Josh Radnor) comes off hopeless (a hopeless romantic, but still hopeless) Marshall (Jason Segel) is the patient best friend, who eventually loses his temper. Robin (Cobie Smulders) is someone I can't decide on. Since her picture is in the opening credits, I'm guessing she is going to be around for the shows duration (or at least for a long time) but I'm not sure I get Ted's obsession with her. The two characters who come off best in this episode are Lily (Alyson Hannigan) and Barney Stinson (Neil Patrick Harris) who is again wearing suits for the entire show.

This episode is absolutely perfect. I liked it even more than the pilot. Everything was timed really well and had some amazing jokes in it.

It was already very funny how Ted was planning to be casual while throwing parties hoping that Robin would show up. And the time when Marshall loses it and yells at Ted right when Robin walks in, revealing his reasons for the parties was perfect timing that made one feel really uncomfortable for Ted.

Their conversation on the roof was pretty well written. And what I loved the most was Robin making a "have you met Ted?" move in the bar. She is very much like Barney, only female.

Speaking of Barney, I loved his little story of hooking up with the girl who he thought he will never see again and her showing up again and again. The best part of this was him using Ted's "I am in love with you" to get rid of her.

The One With Multiple Rooftop Parties...

I absolutely love this episode. It's so good. I love everything about. I love the storyline and everything is just so funny and entertaining. I especially love Marshall in this episode.

In this episode, Ted finds out through Lily that Robin still likes him, even after the accidentally premature "I love you". So he decides to invite her to his rooftop party. She is unable to make it the day he planned, so the said it was the current night. She didn't end up coming and the next day, Ted extends the party. Still, Robin didn't show. The third night, the party continued and Robin finally made it.

Best part of the episode: When Marshall says, "Everybody had fun. Everybody wanged. Everybody chunged."

Overall, I give this episode a 10 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Freaking Ridonkulous.
