At one point a Nazi officer questions Hogan about what he knows of the Manhattan Project, the American atomic bomb project led by the physicist Robert Oppenheimer. Coincidentally, the German officer is played by actor Alan Oppenheimer.
This could be a dedication to J. Robert Oppenheimer who died February 18, 1967.
Oppenheimer ran the construction of the Atomic Bomb at Los Alamos, New Mexico. Like actors from the 1950's, he was attacked by the Republican run Unamerican Activities Committee. He would be stripped of his Security Clearance while declared a fine American.
In "Two Nazis for the Price of One," "Gruppenführer" (aka, Group Leader) Herman Freitag wants sole credit for learning about the "Manhatten Project" via Col. Hogan and his underground connections. Freitag was played by Alan Oppenheimer.
Alan was Robert Oppenheimer's Third Cousin.

Take a good look at Manheim. He is "Gruppenführer" (aka, Group Leader) Herman Freitag's
"Second In Command" - as he reminds Freitag before the climax.
For years, Jon Cedar played the humbled Cpl. Langenscheidt taking orders, licking boots of Sgt. Schultz and Col. Klink. Here, Jon Cedar changed characters to a higher rank and took some pot shots at Schultz, Klink and even his superior Freitag.
Quietly, Jon Cedar returned back to his "Cpl. Langenscheidt" character (who is eventually promoted) for his remaining appearances on the show.

This is more of a goof. But Freitag is referred to Gruppenfuhrer which is the US equivalent of Major General. However the rank he has on his uniform is that of Reichsfuhrer. There is no US equivalent. It was a special title and highest rank in the SS. Heinrich Himmler held the rank the longest from 1929-1945 ~ BW
'Freitag' is German for 'Friday'.
