Richard Dawson and Werner Klemperer in Hogan's Heroes (1965)

Goofs

Hogan Springs

Hogan's Heroes

Edit

Continuity

When Hogan takes the uniforms off the rack to give to the men out the window, there are 8 uniforms that are taken off. When the uniforms are returned on the rack, there are 6 uniforms on the rack. There are just 4 officers in the tubs (Klink, Burkhalter, two aides). Update: There are four officers, but each one wears an overcoat and a uniform, so there would be eight hangers used - one each for the uniform and the overcoat - for the four officers.
As Newkirk starts the steam in the new bath house, Hogan and LeBeau go to hand the coats and uniforms out the window. LeBeau and Hogan step through the coat rack to the window, and LeBeau hands out the first uniform. The view shifts to show them handing the coats and uniforms out the window. LeBeau has two items hanging on his side, Hogan only one. LeBeau hands out one of his two, while Hogan hands out his last item. The view shifts back to show Klink in the tub, with Newkirk passing in front of him. In the background, Hogan and LeBeau are continuing to hand the coats and uniforms out the window, but there are now two items on LeBeau's side, and one on Hogan's side again.

Character error

In the denouement, when Hogan brings the box of bottled water to Klink so he can write the note, Hogan carries the box as if it were empty (which it almost certainly was). Given the size of the box, there would have been at least four bottles in the box (assuming the same type bottles were used here as those used to send the samples off to be analyzed). Assuming the bottles were two-liter bottles, since one liter of water weighs approximately one Kilogram (2.2 lbs.), each bottle would weigh at least two Kilograms (4.4 lbs.), giving a total water weight of 8 Kilograms, or 17.6 lbs. Adding in the weight of the glass bottles (4), the weight of the whole package would be at least 20 lbs., which Hogan could not carry in the manner he does. The way he carries it, it would almost certainly have fallen out of his grip - or Hogan would have crushed the box in his effort to hold the box under his arm. If the box contained the water, Hogan would have been carrying it by supporting it from underneath.
