Sexy and a surprise haunt of the past that shows true colors, well done episode of the series.

This "Hitchhiker" episode titled "Doctor's Orders" is certainly one of the better done episodes of the series it's very sexy and it proves so well that a persons past can catch up with them and haunt them. Paul LeMat stars as a city mayor who's up for election again and he feels he's doing everyone a favor by trying to fight the war on porn and sex. Yet it hits close to home when a family member is caught making a sex tape, but as the episode shifts the viewer sees a dark secret lies with the LeMat character that will catch up with him and destroy his life and state of mind he's clearly stripped bare! The key character involved is a woman who works as an escort who specializes in seduction and making X rated home movies with customers this lady(played by sexy ex playmate of the year Shannon Tweed making her second "Hitchhiker" appearance) has a past connection to the mayor as the old flames of passion returns to the present and it becomes a haunting reality a nightmare that will take the mayor down. All along the hidden secret of lust and passion will turn to betrayal this episode was crafted so well to show how each soul gives into sex and lust and just how scandal brings politicians down. Just to mention the scenes with Shannon Tweed are hot and sexy especially those of her in a black bra, plus she shows a little frontal cleavage! Overall great episode that's sexy and proves that the past can haunt and bring a person down.

A solid and sexy episode

Warning: Spoilers
Puritanical small town mayor Jake Purely (an excellent performance by the always dependable Paul LeMat) is running for reelection on a strict platform that vehemently opposes sex and pornography. However, a dark secret from Jake's shady past threatens to resurface and destroy his credibility as a moral crusader in the form of lovely escort Dr. Rita de Roy (a perfectly enticing portrayal by the luscious Shannon Tweed). Director Reynaldo Villalobos, working from a racy and absorbing script by Thomas Baum, relates the compellingly scuzzy story at a steady pace and does a sturdy job of creating and sustaining a potently seamy'n'steamy atmosphere. LeMat's strong acting really holds everything together; he gets sturdy support from Clayton Rohner as wayward press secretary Harry Deakon, Sandy Tucker as Purely's fed-up wife Brenda, and Linda Darlow as Brenda's sassy best gal pal Iris. Moreover, there's a spot-on sound and provocative central message about how one's long suppressed past can catch up with you in the worst and most damaging way in the present. As a tasty added plus, the delectable Ms. Tweed looks positively smoking hot when she strips down to trashy black underwear. Thomas Burstyn's glossy cinematography gives this episode a neat bright look. The jazzy score by Shaki Levy and Haim Saban further enhances the overall sordid mood. Worth a watch for fans of the show.
