This was the last episode filmed, although not the last one aired.
In a previous episode it was established that Salmoneus was in prison for tax fraud. In this episode starting at 2:33: Autolycus: "Tough thing about Salmoneus, huh?" Hercules: "Yeah. That massage-parlor bust was a real drag."
This episode's title is a variation of "Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves" the 1971 #1 hit by Cher.
At 39:28 Autolycus quotes Marie Antoinette, queen of France when he says "Let them eat cake" or in French "Qu'ils mangent de la brioche".
At 41:16 the emcee introduces Luscious as "the wind beneath your wings" which is a riff on "The wind beneath my wings" as recorded by Bette Midler et al. He adds "the zippity in your doo-dah" which refers to "Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah" from Disney's 1946 movie "Song of the South".
