Hazell is given an offer to food to be true by his former partner, to track down a thief at a high class hotel, by posing as a wealthy guest.
My favourite episode so far, I thoroughly enjoyed it, the most imaginative plot I've come across on the show, a great set of characters, and a chance to see Nicholas Ball doing some great character acting.
Surreal, funny, intriguing, it is absolutely bonkers, but it's so entertaining, a more interesting mix than is the norm.
Ball really looked like he had fun here, seeing him playing Hazell, playing a wealth guest, he was great throughout.
I did love the Australian femme fatale, she was a cracking character. Geraldine Gardner was terrific I thought, what a presence.
The wonderful Ian Marter was great as Hazell's former partner, and it was good to see Irene Sutcliffe as Mrs Lovegood, if you've watched The Miss Marple series, you'll have seen her in Bertram's Hotel, also playing a superior hotel receptionist.
8/10.
