Chin Ho is trailing Damien's car, with McGarrett and Williams in another car some distance away. After the car crashes, McGarrett and Williams arrive moments before Chin Ho.
The coin Arnie drops in the newspaper machine is clearly a 1910 nickel, not the 1913 coin that was stolen.
When they follow the kid to the store, Arnie his wife and the cashier wear the same green and white flower-pattern clothing.
The coin dealer says the forgery can only be detected using +3 diopter magnification. +3 diopters is only 1.75 magnification which is less than an ordinary magnifying glass available in any store.
The cement factory where the meet takes place is actually a ready mix concrete plant. Cement is one component of concrete and requires a huge plant to manufacture. Cement is the dry powder that is mixed with water, sand, and gravel which is then loaded into the mixing trucks for delivery.
When Arnie Price is arrested on the street by uniformed HPD officers for felony crimes, they did not handcuff him (which is almost always required for a custodial arrest) AND put him in the back seat of the squad car without a partition/cage in it.
Normal procedure is to handcuff a suspect with his arms behind is back. Most agencies will have him in the front seat with an officer behind him OR in the right-rear passenger seat with an officer sitting next to him to his left if there is no cage in the car.

In one of the opening scenes, the man on the beach puts the rare coin in his pocket and then kills the other man by shooting him with a revolver.
The revolver has a silencer/suppressor on it - which would be ineffective. They only work on a firearm with a chamber - not on a revolver with just a cylinder. There is space for the gases to escape before the projectile passes through the barrel.

The technique used by Andecker to create the 1913 coin by removing the "0" from a 1903 nickel with a chisel-like tool seems somewhat crude and simple.
As Arnie and Paul are tussling for control of the vehicle it eventually winds up in the water, and starts bobbing which suggests the water is several feet or more deep. But when McGarrett, Danno and Chin arrive and race into the water, the vehicle is obviously stationary and the tires are resting on the water bed.
At the end, McGarrett use his own sleight of hand to "pull" the real $100,000 nickel from behind Eric Damien's ear. McGarrett had previously recovered the real nickel from Arnie, and while the ending was cute, it seems unlikely McGarrett would have taken such a valuable piece of evidence along, and even more unlikely he would frivolously handle it in that manner.
How McGarrett determines where Damien is staying is questionable.
When Price is demonstrating coin switching with one hand to Damien, both nickels are Jefferson nickels. Not the fake 1913 Liberty nickel as Damien mentioned.
