When an Arab princess is kidnapped, a reporter appears to be aware of it so McGarrett asks her how she knew. But she refuses to divulge her source. Later her husband is contacted by the kidnappers who demand safe passage for their vessel through his country's waters. Obviously they're drug smugglers but he decides to give in because his wife is pregnant. Later the reporter is attacked by someone who tries to get some pictures she took of the prince.
