The producers set up two unusual shots near the beginning taken as if from the point of view of luggage leaving an airliner - in the first the camera trails an item of luggage out of a narrow opening on a conveyor belt onto the baggage claim carrel, and the second follows the bag until it is picked up by Jonathan Cavel (Don Porter). At the spot where the luggage reaches the carrel, there is a woman with long dark hair and sunglasses, dressed all in white. Then the bag is picked up by Cavel, and as he walks away, that same woman passes him in the distance as if she were coming from a different part of the airport - even though just a few seconds have passed.
After Cavel steals the car from the parking lot, McGarrett puts out an APB describing the car as a white 1962 station wagon. The car taken was a white 1964 Cheverolet Impala station wagon.
When McGarrett calls in a description in for the stolen station wagon, he says it's a 1962 Chevrolet; it's actually a 1964 Chevrolet.
Even though the ticket counter and the flight attendant were Global Airlines, the plane was United Airlines.
The HPD Hughes 369 helicopter sounded like a Bell 47.
Book in the briefcase that is searched by villain in hotel room was used in previous episode. (The Sunday Torch)
After McGarrett "allows" Cavel to sneak a look at the passenger manifest in his desk drawer which indicates the Rowan's hotel, he tracks them down. Despite the fact that Cavel has never seen the Rowans before, he knows who they are when they are standing on the sidewalk trying to get into a taxi.
