At the beginning, while in the jewelry shop, the woman holds up the jewelry to the light... in the close up of the same shot, showing just the jewelry and the hand holding it, the nails are very long and manicured. As the same shot is shown again, from the original, wider angle the nails on the actress are very short and unpolished.
During the chase scene involving Michael (Christopher Cary), the film is
"flopped" to create the impression that a reverse angle shot was taken from the driver's side of the car. It's clear that a "flopped" film image was used, however, because there was no passenger side mirror on the convertible (as this shot makes it appear), and also because the "H.P.D." insignia on Cary's collar is obviously reversed.
