When Matt is too busy to escort Kitty to a gold mine she inherited, she travels there alone and meets with claim jumpers and other difficulties.
Kitty travels to Pick Axe to make claim to a gold mine left to her by a friend. When she arrives she is met with surly town folk and claim jumpers. With help of Thad and a local boy who is mute, she hopes to save what she sees as her retirement future.—DrDOS
