Previously Blanche said her husband died in a car accident. Tge police called her to inform her of the accident and said he was already dead. In this episode she said he was in a coma for days before dying.
When Blanche describes the characters in her book, she holds the book in both hands. In the next shot she holds it only in her right hand, and at a different angle.
