Jackson Douglas and Melissa McCarthy in Gilmore Girls (2000)

Goofs

The Festival of Living Art

Gilmore Girls

Edit

Continuity

When Lorelai talks about being the Renoir girl, she mentions several times that she loves the dress. Taylor even asks her if "the Renoir dress still fits [her]." She responds "like a glove". However, once the festival begins, she wears jeans on stage as the Renoir girl.
In the opening scene Lorelai mentions she might start clipping coupons again, and Rory, aghast, asks "when did you clip coupons before?" But in episode 3.18 "Happy Birthday, Baby" Rory listed "no more clipping coupons" as one consequence of Lorelai receiving the $75,000 investment check from her father.
The full-crowd shots of the festival do not match the close-ups occasionally shown, such as that of Gil's wife and two children sitting in the back.
The pile of laundry Rory is carrying in the kitchen changes between shots.

Factual errors

There are not 2000 sculptures in the gardens of Versailles, there's 221.

Revealing mistakes

While Sookie is bouncing all around Lorelai's living room and panicking about her baby never coming out, the fake belly under Melissa McCarthy's dress is bouncing all over the place.
