Gilligan's Island

Edit

Continuity

It seems inconceivable that Gilligan would not know what SOS means, since he is the Skipper's First Mate & would have known about distress signals.
While the "SOS" logs are burning, its clearly dark, but the manned capsule high above is shown in broad daylight.
During the scene where Mr. & Mrs. Howell are stowed away on the capsule. Mr. Howell tell Mrs. Howell that if they're captured, all they have to do is give their names and seat numbers on the stock exchange. Mr. Howell has his teddy bear under his arm.

The next scene is Mr. Howell stating he's afraid of the dark and Mrs. Howell giving Mr. Howell his teddy bear.

Revealing mistakes

When the capsule pushes away from the shore because Gilligan was seated against it, the three men attempt to pull it back. Skipper throws away his drink, and when it hits the ground it breaks - with the sound of shattering glass. The 'cups' look like they have been made from bamboo, not ceramic or glass.
When the Professor is explaining to the other men that they will need to soak the logs with something because they may be too green to burn, he says the liquid should be something "inflammable." He should have said, something "flammable." Gilligan follows up with the response, "Yeah, Something easy to burn."

Crew or equipment visible

As the space capsule is splashing down in the lagoon the guide wires are visible lowering the capsule down; probably being lowered by a crane.
