Max smashes one of the Chief's cufflinks, which the Chief claims were a gift from the Broadcasters Association. However, the series establishes that both the Chief's identity and the existence of CONTROL are supposed to be so top secret that only KAOS and the President are aware either exists.
Earl Kibbee's binoculars are hit head-on by a handgun round at relatively close range, resulting in nothing more than an annoyed look from Kibbee. In reality, the binoculars stopping a bullet in that manner would at minimum cause a nasty black eye, if not serious eye damage, and would have easily knocked him off of his chair.
At the beginning Dietrich jumps out of a plane. The wing of the camera plane becomes visible in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
