Max and 99's bedroom is shown with twin beds, Max's on the left and 99's on the right. In numerous previous episodes, they share a single larger bed, with 99 on the left and Max on the right. This may have been a censorship issue. It was all right to show a husband and wife in bed together, but Since 99 was an impostor, she could not share the bed.
When asked by the Chief, Max claims the name Melnick doesn't ring a bell. However, Max and 99 investigated a pet store run by a top KAOS operative named Melnick, "The Smiling Killer" in a season two episode.
Max says that he has to be at work "early this morning", but when 99 is sitting on his lap trying to persuade him to eat the big breakfast she made, you can clearly see that her watch reads 10:15.
