During the scene in which Lilith is leaving Frasier's apartment and traps her handbag in the door, Frasier's shadow can be seen on the close-up shot of the door. During the shot, his shadow shows he is putting his hands in his pockets, but when the camera cuts back to Frasier, he has his hands by his sides.
Frasier believes Lilith to be coming to Seattle for a therapists' conference. Later she admits that this was a pretext; there is no conference. As Frasier is a therapist in Seattle he surely would have known this. Response: Lilith says she is town for a conference, but does not identify it as a therapists' convention. She could have been speaking at a convention for another profession.
After Niles leaves, and Frasier says "he doesn't get that kind of validation at home", the camera turns back to Lilith. A mic boom can be seen in the upper left hand corner.
After dinner Lilith (Bebe Neuwirth) is seen asking Martin (John Mahoney) about any "repressed sexual urges" that he may have encountered while subduing a suspect who had fired on him. Sexual repression is usually associated with Freudian psychology, of which Lilith is highly critical, along with her usual criticism of Frasier, who is a Freudian. This is an odd question for Lilith, who is an Adlerian or a Behaviorist, to ask.
Lilith is proud of her high education and diction, however she misuses the word "chagrin" when telling Frasier that she was hoping he'd play Pearl Jam's latest hit. She may have been disappointed, but she would not be embarrassed when he didn't.
