Frasier's Christmas Farce
mattalan-8443220 March 2018
Probably the funniest if not the best Frasier episode I've seen.

In this episode, a woman in a store spots Frasier buying his son Frederick a Menorah for Hanukkah and, suspecting Frasier is Jewish, sets him up with her daughter. The funny begins when the mother and daughter come to Frasier's condo, Martin attempting to be Jewish is pretty funny, along with Frasier trying to keep up the ruse...

But Niles steals the funniest moment in the show! Go watch and see it.

Another one of my 5 favourite episodes. It being so again because if miscommunications and keeping from telling the truth! Niles showing up dressed as Jesus when Frasier is trying to come across as Jewish is absolutely hilarious!

Carol Shelley is brilliant and absolutely (in my humble opinion) steals the show - though the whole cast shines, especially in the last half of the show the rapid fire humor makes this one of the best. If I may venture a piece of advice, record and watch it a couple of time. I can almost guarantee you'll discover a few lines that may have slipped under the radar.

Everyone in the Crane household is forced to pretend to be Jewish to support Frasier's newest squeeze. It is Amy Brennemen who would have her own show, playing a judge. There are some great moments because parallel to this, Daphne is coordinating a Christmas play. Lots of duplicity and close calls which are always great.

Easily Top 5 Best Episode In The Series

Warning: Spoilers
Everything that made Frasier work and continues its legacy of timeless comedy is in this episode. There is rapid fire entrances and exits, pratfalls, absurd situations and excellent dialogue.

Frasier is mistaken to be Jewish by a new girlfriend's mother, and when they both come over before Christmas, the whole household is forced to pretend that they are.

Niles absolutely steals the episode by teaching Martin to act Jewish by answering questions with questions, giving a stereotypical toast, adding sugar to wine, and, while dressed as Jesus for a pageant, comes back to look for his nasal spray. Hilarity ensues! Watch this episode more than once. It just gets better each time.
