This episode of "Four Star Theater" stars David Niven as Lee, a screenwriter and Beverly Garland as Holly, his actress girlfriend. It seems that Lee's scripts have lately been pretty stale and awful. While he was never a big time writer, he was modestly successful before he hit this rut. However, he finally is able to produce a dandy script--so good that he's invited to Hollywood to sign a lucrative contract. Everything looks great and Lee is ready to marry his girlfriend and live happily ever after until a monkey wrench is thrown into his plans. What is the problem and how does he go about solving it?
This is a not a great episode of the series. However, the acting is quite good and that makes it worth seeing--though hardly a must-see example of a long-forgotten old TV series.
