Hard to believe but enjoyable....

Stacy (Lili Palmer) and David Lawrence are a somewhat unhappily married couple. David is so busy with work that he hardly even notices his wife and she is pretty miserable because he forgot her birthday. So, on a lark, she agrees to go out with some charming Lothario she's met earlier that day. However, during their drive home, there's an accident and the new guy, Paul, convinces her to run home and pretend she wasn't there. The next day, Stacy learns that Paul is being held for vehicular homicide--but she knows he's not guilty, but she's also afraid to go to the police. She does resolve to do this but she first wants to explain it to her husband. What's next?

This one had a decent idea for a show but failed in a few ways. First, although she goes out with another man the viewer is expected to believe that despite this she's a virtuous woman. This is pretty hard to believe. Second, the situation that you learn about the husband and his job just seems too coincidental to be believed. Ms. Palmer and the rest seemed to do okay but were hindered by a script that just strained credibility. Despite all this, it IS entertaining.
