Samuel has taken a break. He has gone to Manchester to watch test match cricket for five days with his pals. He has promised Pearl that he will call her after the game each day.
Only the phone at home is preoccupied. Sonny is now a babe magnet and has ladies calling for him. Even Shirley has lads ringing to ask her out.
Samuel has no chance trying to get through. He is frustrated by the engaged tone.
Then little Benjamin waltz's in claiming he is in love with a girl at school. He then gets nervous when Maureen rings that she is coming down.
Sonny decides to give Benjamin tips in being confident around girls. Then expresses an interest in Maureen when she calls round. It leads to friction between both brothers.
Samuel is still hanging on the telephone in a phone box in Manchester.
