- Nick suspects a cover-up in the attempted rape of a police captain's wife and her subsequent shooting of the attacker.
- Capt. Stonetrees (Gary Farmer) friend, Inspector Fiori (Marc Strange) and wife, Lyn (Lori Hallier), become involved in a case of sex, murder, and distrust when the wife, Lyn, has an affair that goes wrong. Her statements to the police, leave Knight (Geriant Wyn Davies) not believing she killed him in self-defense, but Capt. Stonetree calls the case closed. Following his own leads and hunches, Knight discovers the lover of Lyn was also friends with the owner of a sex video store, where a tape of his was found at the scene of the crime. Bringing the store owner in for questioning, uncovers that the renter of the video was Inspector Fiori, not the wife, Lyn nor her lover. Betrayed, Capt. Stonetree heads to his friends home confronting them with the knowledge that Fiori killed him and tried to cover up. As he picks up the phone to connect with headquarters, Fiori clubs him and coerces Lyn to help him to dispose of the body. Knight and his partner with a back-up team locate the Captain and Fiori.
Visiting his past, Knights ability to love for the sake of love, in all its beauty, reminds him of his platonic love for a model who believes she is responsible for mens desires and inability to control themselves. She deserved the punishment of the men who take her and, unable to bear the remorse of this sin, she kills herself with the poison known as lady killer.
