The perils of looking backwards
keysam-0261028 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This episode toys with the viewer, because you think it will all be about the hare coursing that is the initial story.

However, a friend of Jack's turns up with a scheme - and it very much feels like an underhanded one right from the off - for the Boults to invest in his forestry business and move to Wales. It's a really attractive offer - not! Sell the house you own outright, invest the money in a business where at least two of the other partners hate you because you're English (if it *had* been a good investment, these two would have put anyone with half a brain off), and live in a RENTED run down cottage instead. As I said, attractive.

J & H go to spend a week with Mike & Mary, without Jack having told Harriet *anything* about the "investment opportunity", which anyone can see is really silly thing to do. As we could all have told him, she is Not Pleased when she works it out.

Luckily Harriet sees straight through Jack's old friends (the bloke in particular is a nasty chauvinist piece of work), spotting that they are a heartbeat away from splitting up anyway and they go off back to Forever Green land.

Where the hare coursing gets sorted out quite amicably, especially if you really hate lying toads in the aristocracy.
