War from the inside
searchanddestroy-123 March 2020
A good war study, but of course too short to be treated deep enough. It begins with the focus on letters received by relatives, here a mother - whose the son was killed in action, and continues showing Edmond O'Brien as a war priest, being on the front, bringing some spiritual comfort to soldiers. I admit that this story is also a bit too smooth. Too spiritual too, for those like me who are not believers. But that remains an interesting point of view about perception of war among those who fight.
