Mel Blanc and Alan Reed in The Flintstones (1960)

Goofs

No Help Wanted

The Flintstones

Edit

Continuity

Dino appears and is specifically mentioned by name at the start of "No Help Wanted". However, The Snorkasaurus Hunter (1961) contradicts these earlier appearances by having the character meet the Flintstones for the first time. In this "reintroduction", Dino can speak and is a different color than the non-speaking character that appeared in the rest of the series. It should be noted that this series was never big on continuity, with minor details such as car design and the layout of the Flintstones' home changing almost episode by episode, but this is a rather major continuity break.

Revealing mistakes

As Barney is repossessing Fred's TV and Fred is forcing Barney to put the TV back in the house, Wilma sees them carrying the TV. In the shot where Fred tells Wilma they are "Airing out the Aerial like," the knobs on the TV are missing.

Character error

Barney appears to be learning how to play golf for the first time. However in The Flintstone Flyer (1960), he was seen playing a solo game of golf in his backyard.
