Lord Ralph Mayhew attempts to entice Ted to go to the cinema with him by saying they are showing a Gérard Depardieu movie in town. A few moments later he gives the name of the movie as Manon of the Spring (1986). However, Gérard Depardieu was not in Manon des sources, but instead was in its prequel Jean de Florette (1986), something that Lord Mayhew would definitely know.
