Big fan of this show during the day. The story of 'Room & Bard' gets the majority of attention and Robert Reed as Shakespeare is quite a change from all our memories of him as Mr. Brady on 'Brady Bunch'. Still it's a relatively dry story IMO.
Now 'The Tallowed Image' made a lasting impression on me. Very ghoulish storyline that even frightened me so much that I hesitated to watch the show the next Saturday. Audrey Landers is beautiful as always, and the awesome Cesar Romero and his henchman Sid Haig are excellent in their roles. Even the great TV composer Ken Harrison (early in his career) wrote a very spooky score for this story. One of the more 'adult' stories to be shown on this series.
