This wasn't my personal cup of tea, as I like the sinister angle this show is known for, but both stories seemed original and had some decent performances as well. There are several faces you should know, including Jill Whelan(Love Boat), Sonny Bono, Diana Canova, Rory Calhoun, Dan Rowan(who can't act), Cameron Mitchell, and James Luisi from the great Rockford Files. Neither story was that memorable, but both had interesting plots, especially "The Big Dipper", which had a father and daughter pickpocket tandem(Rowan & Whelan)hiding from the authorities, as Mr. Roarke hides them out on a local farm, although the girl's fantasy was basically to have them bond together so they can pick another career path. Whelan is surprisingly good, just as Rowan is surprisingly bad, although she oddly calls her dad "Petey" most of the time. The other story has Ted Cavanaugh(Bono)trying to prevent his former wife Mary(Canova)from getting married again, as he concocts a fantasy of becoming a pirate to kidnap her. To steal a line from Thomas Magnum, "I know what you're thinking", but it's actually carried out well, even though it is the weaker story.
