"There was a kangaroo....in my living room." This is the episode that reminds anyone who ever had their parents return home early from an out-of-town trip what it was like to fall way short of their expectations. I saw this in 1984 and have repeated that line ever since when appropriate.

Warning: Spoilers
This episode, well where do you begin. The actress playing Elyse was off having her twins so it created this absolute gem of a storyline of the Keaton kids being on their own for the weekend. Too bad Mallory has a little fender bender with the car and in order to earn some quick cash to pay for the repair Alex comes up with the idea to rent out a room in their home as a hotel since the big football game is happening and there is literally no empty hotel rooms anywhere. It of course snowballs from there into a full fledged bed and breakfast with endless hilarity. Yes when Dad returns there is that classic monologue he gives, I really don't know how they all kept a straight face. That is why Michael Gross was so amazing on this show even though Michael J. Fox received most of the accolades and Emmys. His facial expressions were simply the BEST.
