Contrary to internet rumors, Jo Marie Payton does not appear in this final episode. According to an interview she did with TVSeriesFinale.com, after reading the rumors, JoMarie watched a copy of the episode online and looked hard to see if she was in it - even though she stopped working on the series several episodes earlier. In the interview, she was quoted as saying, "I looked real hard too because I said, 'Well if I'm there, I think they owe me a check.' You know? (laughs). And I, I didn't see me. And I said 'Well.' And I looked, I looked real carefully, and I said 'No, I wasn't there.' And then I looked at IMDb, they had it there, but they said 'uncredited.' And I'm saying 'I know I wasn't.' I was gone like seven shows before that (laughs). I think they did six or seven shows, and that's when they pulled it. And I'm done and gone by that time."
Reginald VelJohnson, Darius McCrary and Kellie Shanygne Williams are the only 3 cast members from the pilot episode to appear in the finale.
Last episode of the series.
Jo Marie Payton does not appear in this episode. However, the scenes in the control room show a woman that sort of resembles Jo Marie. When Steve is finally declared safe, you hear a voice say something to the effect of "Okay, Steve." This sounds like Jo Marie Payton's voice. They could possibly have taken a sound bite from another episode, and dubbed it in.
