- A Mafia hit man uses information about a hit and run accident to try to take over a legitimate business.
- This may be just a coincidence or maybe an Easter egg thrown in by the writer of this episode. One of the cast members of this episode is Don Grady the one that played Robbie on My Three sons which starred William demarest. In the role he played in this episode of the FBI his girlfriend's name was Yvonne demarest. Just a fun fact and coincidence or not!?—Michele Rees
- When irresponsible young driver John McElroy (Don Grady) and his girlfriend Yvonne Demarest (Flora Plumb) try to cover up a hit and run accident, evidence proving their guilt is acquired by ambitious Mafia hitman Jerry Lee (Roger Perry), who tries to use it as a lever to take over the business owned by John's father, Doug McElroy (Murray Hamilton), and thus rise in the mob family controlled by George Petrarkis (John Vivyan). Meanwhile Erskine (Efrem Zimbalist Jr.) doggedly investigates the original accident, leading him to a helicopter-based showdown with the Cosa Nostra.
