Walter Hazlett (Tim O'Connor) is a very desperate man. His 'friends' with the Cosa Nostra have ordered him to be killed and the FBI is looking for him. In desperation, he boards a plane bound for Jacksonville, Florida and ends up hijacking the flight....demanding to be taken to Cuba! Can the FBI both stop the hijacking and capture Hazlett in order to get him to testify against his ex-friends?
I was very young when this episode of "The FBI" debuted. But one thing I remember clearly is that during the late 60s and into the early 70s, there was a spate of skyjackings and most seemed to demand they fly to Cuba, as the criminals assumed they wouldn't be extradited back to the States. Because of this, the plot is rather realistic. Overall, a well written and tense episode...well worth seeing.
